Patients with Ehlers Danlos Syndrome(EDS) have many challenges that may be associated with hypermobility. There are many treatment approaches that include manual therapies, bracing and regenerative injections.   Patients with EDS can benefit from Regenerative Injection Therapy (Prolotherapy done with dextrose and low dose aqueous Testosterone).  These injections can be done to strengthen ligaments, joints and to heal tendons with Tendinopathy. There are many other considerations when helping people with EDS especially if one has a conditions known as POTS.

Postural Orthostatic Tachycardia Syndrome(POTS) is a conditon associated with fast heart rate and low blood pressure.  It is related to autonomic dysfunction and there may be an autoimmune cause as well as a number of factors which may have triggered it.  If one can figure out contributing factors that may have triggered immune dysfunction than treatments may be more efficacious.  Patients may need IV fluids but this is not a long term solution.  It is important to determine what might have triggered the condition and to improve any Immune and GI dysfunction. A unique approach to this condition is to combineFrequency Specific Microcurrent with  a Functional Medicine approach to helping the autonomic and vascular systems. Frequency Specific Microcurrent can be used to treat and improve the autonomic nervous system including the vagus nerve. Functional Medicine can be used to assess and improve the immune system and the GI tract.
